All Tomorrow’s Parties (2026) is inspired by the celebrated song by The Velvet Underground & Nico, written by Lou Reed.
Rather than illustrating the song literally, the painting translates its atmosphere into a contemporary visual language of nightlife, music, glamour, emotional distance and melancholy. Faces, bodies, architectural fragments and the guitar intersect within a fractured pictorial space. Deep blues are interrupted by acidic yellows, pale flesh tones and violet accents, while figures emerge, dissolve and reappear among geometric planes.
The fragmented figures behave like different musical voices, with the guitar, faces and architecture creating a rhythm of interruptions and connections. Beauty and unease coexist, and the party becomes simultaneously anticipation, experience and memory.
