SHIPPING & DAMAGED ARTWORK POLICY

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. Shipping destinations

Original artworks are shipped from Seville, Spain.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout according to the destination.

For destinations outside the European Union, please contact the artist before purchasing so that shipping availability, cost and conditions can be confirmed.

2. Packaging and insurance

Each artwork is carefully packed using protective materials suitable for transporting original art.

Shipments are made through a professional carrier and include tracking and transport insurance whenever available.

The artwork is normally shipped framed or unframed according to the information shown on its product page.

3. Processing and delivery times

Orders are normally prepared and dispatched within 3–5 business days after payment has been confirmed.

Estimated delivery is usually 7–10 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary because of carrier delays, customs procedures, adverse weather or other circumstances beyond the artist’s reasonable control.

Tracking information will be provided when the shipment has been arranged.

4. Delivery address

The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address and telephone number.

The artist is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the buyer.

Any request to change the delivery address must be made before the artwork has been dispatched.

5. Customs and import charges

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The buyer is responsible for complying with the import regulations applicable in the destination country.

6. Inspection upon delivery

The buyer should inspect the external condition of the package when it is delivered.

If the package appears damaged, crushed, punctured, wet or opened, the buyer should, whenever possible:

  • Record the damage with the carrier.

  • Photograph the package before opening it.

  • Retain the packaging, shipping label and protective materials.

  • Photograph the artwork and any damage found.

7. Damaged artwork

If the artwork arrives damaged, please contact the artist as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, at:

Email: sercarlr@gmail.com

Please include the order number and photographs of:

  • The external packaging.

  • The shipping label.

  • The internal packaging.

  • The complete artwork.

  • Detailed images of the damage.

Reporting damage within 48 hours helps with the transport-insurance claim, but it does not remove or limit the buyer’s mandatory consumer rights.

The artist will assess the situation and arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law, which may include restoration, replacement where possible, a price reduction or a refund.

The buyer must not return a damaged artwork without first receiving shipping instructions.

8. Loss during transport

The artist remains responsible for the shipment until the buyer, or a third party designated by the buyer other than the carrier, receives the artwork.

If tracking indicates an unusual delay or the shipment appears to be lost, the buyer should contact the artist so that an investigation can be opened with the carrier.

9. Failed delivery

The buyer is responsible for being available to receive the shipment and for following any instructions provided by the carrier.

If an artwork is returned because of an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts or the buyer’s refusal to complete required customs formalities, any additional shipping or return costs may be charged to the buyer where legally permitted.

10. Returns

Returns for reasons other than damage, loss or incorrect delivery are governed by the separate Return Policy available during checkout.
